Haha, possession and passing means absolutely nothing, especially against us. Remember those passing and possession stats Sky Sports showed before the 2020 playoff final? We went 70 games without having more possession than another team from 2019-2021, but got promoted in that run

Plymouth had lots of the ball, but it was almost entirely in their own half and most of their attacks ended with the ball getting kicked out of play for a Wycombe throw-in. They didn't create a single chance yesterday, and were limited to speculative long shots. It was even more comprehensive than our win against you guys in January

In fact, if you'd watched us this season you'd know that we were far from anti-football. We're playing some great stuff with the ball along the ground, as exemplified by Vokes' goal v Gillingham last weekend

But I know everyone has the lazy Wycombe anti-football stereotype ingrained into their minds, and it suits us if you keep thinking that

As it stands we're 4 points behind both Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland with both having a game in hand on us, Plymouth are 6 points clear. Wycombe 4 points ahead of us with the same amount of games played. With only 3 games left to play for us it's going to take an almighty swing for us to reach the play offs.

It's gone. Sheffield Wednesday are taking the Dons apart.
 
Sheffield Wednesday had a number of fairly straight forward games so I'm not sure we'd catch them anyway.

Wycombe, Plymouth or an imploding Sunderland are our best chances to rein in.
