The earliest snapshot of TIU is from 2000. https://web.archive.org/web/20001206201600/http://www.thisisunited.com/forum/index.asp . People were talking about David Kemp, mindless idiots, loan signings, clear outs, and changing the manager. Nothing much changes.

Not Kasim. Karim Easterbrook? Was a property landlord. He may passed away - not sure.
 
He often called the Radio Oxford post match ‘phone in , as his alter ego, ‘ Ken from Kennington ‘ , but in fact was Karim from Yarnton!

He hated Wilder with a passion - always referred to him as Mr Wilder though.
 
Did someone bring the OxTales name back round the 2007 time?
And I recall Liverpool OX name as well , but do not recall why ?

Loved looking at this one. I actually could get in to the 2007 threads. Took me right back - thankfully not to the Conference days by reading about Yemi playing on wing rather than central, Duffy not being quick enough and Robinson (Marvin I guess) not really being anything - but did me take me right back seeing posters comments come up. Brian Wilsterman rang a ball as soon as I saw his name!! lol

It was TruthTeller who was very adept at stirring Ken up. The picture of him in the OM about being a landlord was a trigger point for his downfall, if I recall.

I think that's roughly it. IIRC Ken was wittering on about what he'd do to paedophiles and to totally un-gay he was and a poster called Paul Cannell offered to meet him outside the Priory in some form of trick schoolboy outfit, probably involving lederhosen, and asked Ken to have a large 99 with plenty of hundreds of thousands ready or to oil his sausage or something. Ken went ballistic and IIRC threatened to hunt me down, murder my family and make my life a misery.

Funny thing is, you never see Paul Cannell posting any more........

What ever happened to Paul Cannell, don't hear anything about him these days???
 
I seem to remember an OxVox meeting where we had Simon Lenagan (maybe? or was it Kelvin T?) as a guest and Ken tried to hog the whole meeting with endless and lengthy passive/aggressive 'questions' (which were really statements!!) despite being told by virtually everyone else there to shut up!
Certainly one poster I don't miss!
