In fairness, we have perhaps a greater chance of winning this than last year but It feels like we prayed for salmon and got pilchards.
For them it's in the middle of a run of league games against Man U, Arsenal and Leicester. Plus a CL game the week before. There's a chance they put out a beatable team for us.
Milwall is a slightly different proposal to Man City turning up with their second string - all full internationals worth 300million. It obviously feels an anti climax as we wont touch the ball for 80minutes and we saw it all last year...however a nice opportunity to fill out the ground again.
Would imagine that us v City and Man Utd v Colchester will be the 2 tv games. The others are fairly bog standard PL affairs!Like many it’s pretty disappointing compared to what else was available. However City it is. Not sure they will pick it as a TV game, Didn’t City give us all their take from the gate last year, that would cushion the effect a bit.
Only problem with that tickets will be sold out by the time we next play at home if Ipswich gets called offThe club should immediately announce ticket priority (after Season Ticket Holders) to those who turn up for next home game.
Boxing Day will be almost a sell out anyway.Or a combined cup/boxing day ticket?
What about members? The club should immediately announce ticket priority (after Season Ticket Holders) to those who turn up for next home game.
Link it to another game come what may.Only problem with that tickets will be sold out by the time we next play at home if Ipswich gets called off
good idea apart from the possibility the next home game could be off due to international call upsThe club should immediately announce ticket priority (after Season Ticket Holders) to those who turn up for next home game.
Yes they get priority too. But let’s use this opportunity to make some money and really boost the coffers for January. What about members?
