Fan's View 22/23 - No.44 - Sheffield Wednesday at home

Hard to believe SW were top of the table. There hasn't been much between us in the two matches.
One main difference is goal keeper, they have two very good GK in Dawson (played in the match at Hillsborough against us) and Stockdale but we have 3 average/poor keepers". Whilst Eastwood made 2 good saves later in the match he was all over the place, several times, in the first 20 minutes. Certainly the sloppiness to attract the chant "Dodgy keeper" from opposition supporters.
Then there is Jack Stevens scoring an own goal for PV against, of all teams, Accrington, and then there is McGinty.
Unfortunately, not only do we not have quality keeping the ball out of our net we are also lacking a centre forward capable of scoring goals at other end.
So trouble at both ends of the pitch in light of this I feel Manning is doing a fine job with what he has inherited.
