Not quite the feast of football I was hoping for, but this type of game seldom is!

Man City had a few *very* close shaves towards the end, but they were the better side and (damning them with faint praise) did less playacting than the Inter players, so they deserved the win.

City were lucky, not as good as everyone makes out. They played a team that wasn't scared of them, giving them time on the ball & excellent graft & closing down.
The bar & goalie saved them, from extra time at least. They're in my opinion not the greatest team ever, by a long shot.
