Surrey based Craig Hicks is the man in the middle at Sixfields this Saturday. He was appointed to the EFL in the summer of 2017.
His first U’s EFL match was a 0-0 draw at Southend in October 2018 and his last U’s match was the 2-1 FA Cup victory at Woking in November 2022.
This season he has refereed 13 matches - including Portsmouth v AFC Wimbledon last night - issuing 50 yellow cards and two reds.

Coldest i can ever remember being at football, I went and stood in the toilets at half time just to warm up, desperate times

This game was on the 23rd March, we played them in a night game the season before at the beginning of April and it was also freezing, maybe they have different seasons to us. Lost both games by a single goal to add to the fun.

I remember that day. I actually had snow encrusted all down one side of me at the end of the game. Makes me shiver just thinking of it.
