Wow, you are amazing. How could anyone ever know that sort of information when trying to sign a player with a terrible run of injuries.Sorry if this makes me look sanctimonious, but I did call the deal offered to Jones a couple of weeks ago!!
Broken clocks and all!!!
Have we just signed a striker as to what's just popped up on twitter says ' who do you think will be the first goal scorer or am I reading to much into itWow, you are amazing. How could anyone ever know that sort of information when trying to sign a player with a terrible run of injuries.
Not sanctimonious at all, we should all just immediately bow to your superior wisdom and ITK status. A mere mortal would have posted a comment like that and forgotten it, rather than thrive for such attention. We are not worthy!!

It’s gone from 5 figures to 6 pretty quicklyI stand corrected, so we’ve got plenty of room in our budget available to replace injured players who we’ve just spent hundreds of thousands on. Didn’t realise that!
Yeah rightYou do realise that I don't take these things too seriously don't you?!
You do know that if we sign a striker in the next 2 seasons, you can quote your own post, and you too, can be the complete ITK god!!Have we just signed a striker as to what's just popped up on twitter says ' who do you think will be the first goal scorer or am I reading to much into it
Stuart Findlay from a corner. Pin it.Have we just signed a striker as to what's just popped up on twitter says ' who do you think will be the first goal scorer or am I reading to much into it
I can just hear a lot of quacking now. Quack quack quack!!Players like wildschut I don’t believe would sign for us if they didn’t have injury history
If this thread is a reflection of what we can expect from the season ahead, at least before the Stuart Findlay signing it would go something like this;I hope our season is as action-packed as this thread. It's a real roller-coaster!
Well it did happen.Well, that’s not what KR said during Saturday’s post-match interview..
It’s gone from 5 figures to 6 pretty quickly
He’s also not an injury prone player
I am one of the first to moan about signing crocks but what justification is there for that here?
All very well, but you forgot the bit where Branners leaves in January because we've no prospect of Champ football next season....That bloke who did what he wanted, Peter Leven, will come in to replace him, along with Peter Fear.If this thread is a reflection of what we can expect from the season ahead, at least before the Stuart Findlay signing it would go something like this;
I fully anticipate a tedious start, followed by a dreary few months of turgid long ball football. The new owners break the news that a rebranded rugby side from out of area will share the pitch for the coming season. The weather is s**t. The pitch is s**t. The wind tunnel of a ground we now cohabbit is s**t. In fact, it's at it's worst, ever.
Come December we find ourselves rock bottom of the table. However the return of Yanic Wildschut early December temporarily lifts spirits to help secure a 2-1 victory away to Accrington giving supporters reason for hope and optimism. However his return is overshadowed by new signings Stuart Findley, Ed McGinty, Josh Murphy and a whopping five first team regular players with no recent track record of injury also finding themselves on the treatment table. This follows calls by many forum members for the medical team to be sacked despite not having any responsibility for injured players in this instance.
January follows with expectation the club will do business early... They don't. Karl Robinson is sacked and Ian Atkins makes his long awaited return to management, bringing with him Junior Agogo and Dave Savage. The club initially struggle but eventually start to secure some horrible wins which gives forum members hope that we will rise from relegation fodder and new-found expectation we shall rise up the league and make the play-offs. We don't.
Happily the club manage to stave off relegation on the last day of the season. The squad are jubilant! Josh Murphy on his exorbitant wages is gleeful, exclaiming that whilst our medical team were idiots for daring to sign him despite no relevant previous injury history, it was all their fault anyway. He would have liked to contribute but he simply couldn't.
We finish the season by celebrating this monumental achievement with a KFC on the coach home.
That was a story of my 2022/23 season expectations following my emotions of this thread.

Firstly, we don't have two dodgy keepers. Secondly, do you think a guy who has never played a game in the FL should start in front of a 30,000 crowd ahead of two experienced guys! Seriously? Will McGinty be in goal at Derby, match fit, would like like to see it, with the two dodgy keepers we already have not reliable, sure he wouldnt have signed to sit on the bench.
There goes Plan A.Tayo Adaramola gone to Coventry
I'd prefer the best keeper to start. Eastwood had an incredibly dodgy spell where his confidence was shot for a period, looks a little more self assured now but still susceptible in the air for me.Firstly, we don't have two dodgy keepers.
