So who from the current squad would we add to tonight’s STARTING outfield 10 that will form part of the 22?
Baldock (where is he by the way tonight?)
Long
Forde
Smyth
Mous (maybe, possibly or probably?)

Unless I’ve missed anyone we are 7 or 8 short as things stand?

Not trying to create any negativity here but a genuine view as to where we are in real terms.

Forde is in today's starting outfield 10! But you've missed Gorrin off your list (who would be another one to file under "where is he by the way tonight?")

Today's starting XI looks OK, but - once again - lacks a specialist RB and a holding midfielder, and we know that Seddon is suspect defensively.

There's still time, but if we don't recruit for each of those three positions in the next six weeks, then I think we're asking for trouble. But, given KR's recent track record, I'm not 100% sure that we will........

4 more injury prone wingers it’ll be then!!

I don’t understand that! I guess they’re after some compensation, but to actually force to purchase them is crazy!
I'd imagine most of the board are also significant shareholders and Musk's offer was thought to be over the odds so they stand to miss out on a large windfall.

Craig Short doing the post match interview. KR didn't do one last night either at Hungerford.

Odd.......?

What I have been able to ascertain from the #OUFC Twitter feed, from those that were at tonight’s game:

Browne is looking back to his best! Powerful, strong, bags of pace and clearly nearing full fitness.

Jones with another good performance tonight! Not assed about what the doubters say, if he stays fit, he’s going to be quality for us. Get him signed up on a Bodin type deal. No brainer.

Goodrham is developing really well and went close on a couple of occasions.

Brannagan was his usual Brannagan self.

Ben Davis got more minutes tonight, and despite initially thinking his move was purely for PR purposes, he seems to have a bit about him!

Seddon had a good game, and chipped in with the third goal!

“iTs OnLy EaStLeIgH”

Don’t care.

Perhaps he’s had to dash off to meet a local player who he’s been on the phone to all night?

Unless he’s been on the blower ordering everyones fried chicken supper?

Only if it's a pay as you play deal.

Would make it impossible to protect out asset. As I’ve mentioned previously, if Jones stays fit and plays a full season for us then he’ll be a saleable asset.

I’m also not convinced he’ll take it, and we can be sure other clubs are taking note that he has now been fully fit for a year and is playing at a high level in pre-season.

Well then I'd say it's far from a no brainer

Eaststanding, you liked Kips comment then liked tatabanya’s contradiction of Kips comment😕

I laughed at Kips comment for its out and out trolling achievement; he knows exactly what he’s doing. f*****g threads a meltdown of epic proportions and I think it’s hilarious, I really do. The window closes on September 1st by the way.

Could turn out to be a master stroke from Musk, though:

Musk asked for Twitter to disclose the amount of bot accounts that are on their platform, before he moved ahead with the acquisition.

They said no

He said “welllll, no thank you then. All the best”

Twitter is now suing him

If it goes to court, they’ll have to disclose the amount of bot accounts that they have not only knowingly facilitated on their platform, but helped to deploy, in order to sway/direct public opinion.

Twitter loses even more credibility than it already has.

Value of their stock goes through the floor.

Musk can buy it on the (relative) cheap, if he so desires..

Genius.
