We don’t have a kit ready as our commercial team couldn’t get a sponsor!
So our owners have had to sort one!! Nothing to do with holding out for the home games!

We’re close to the overseas centre back. Hopefully this next week. A decent U21 left back from the Premier League on loan. If we can sign one of the two midfielders we’re trying, they’ll be a good signing. One is wanted by a couple of Championship teams, possibly training with one currently, a free agent who was in league 1 last season.
The other has played for a premier league team a couple of times last season, which will be a loan.
Jones will be signed on a pay as you play deal if impresses enough in the games. A deal like Bodin was on last season.
Whyte is available again, we’re interested in a perm. And another winger on loan.
Holland took less wages at MK than we offered.
And after a young striker on loan.
Why. Better players elsewhere. No idea why we keep going back to past players over and over again.

Me too. It seems a bit insular, especially when a lot of instances are associated with failure. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we were back in for Thorniley, Whyte and Kane. I do think Browne is a decent acquisition but even he goes back to the Wycombe play off final game and another example of players who cannot get us over that line.

Some of these are very good footballers - Whyte and Kane for example - but perhaps we need to focus more on less ability and more mentality. Teams like Rotherham and Peterborough have yo-yo-ed over recent years and there must be players among those teams with the right profile that we should be targeting.

Robinson says, assuming he’s not including the incoming player, we still need a holding midfielder, three wingers and a striker or maybe a winger that can also play more central. So the playier signing is hopefully either a CB or a FB 🤞

Surely we need more than one defender ? And surely more than one bit part attacking midfielder ? Wingers and striker are right though. Seems we are stuck with Eastwood and Stevens in goal then.

Four wingers and, potentially, a defender. Sounds good.

From what KR said, it sounds like it will be a defender coming in on a permanent for a fee, and it seems unlikely that it’s Findlay given he was playing in US last night.

Brexit means it’s probably not a foreign player from another league as those we’d be able to attract wouldn’t qualify to be able to play over here.

Seems like the club have done well to keep this one close to their chest, with a deal seemingly done and nobody knowing who it is…

Why do you think it's a defender? I can't see anything in the OM article that implies that.

Doesn’t look like we will be playing 3 at the back much with those signings, unless the wingers are also wing backs?
