The reason not to do that is that our defense could do with the confidence boost of a clean sheet. It's been a while.

Just tell him not to make any hard tackles. The refs doesn't appear to have brought his cards to the game anyway.......

Good point but on balance for me risk of losing him for Saturday outweighs clean sheet.
