I’m not to worried if he goes back come January I don’t see him as an upgrade on Sam Long (& that’s what was needed) defensively Stevens has been court out a fair few times but has way better link up play which lets SL down massively specifically in the way we want to play under Manning, I’ve always said Sam Long is the biggest weak link & that needs addressing in January even if Stevens stays or goes.
