It's only one year so not a ringing endorsement. I guess it means he's still 'on probation'. I hope he sees some football in that year!

Finding a number two for any club is difficult, but Jack being a local lad is happy to be here and happy to wait for his chance. No doubt he's also a cheap option to have as a backup keeper. I'd like to see him get his chance in the EFL Trophy games next season, because it really is pointless playing Easty (or whoever is our number one then) in that tournament.

I think that he has been reluctant to use him when Eastwood is out for quite a few games.
If Eastwood was out for a couple of games (sent off) or out for a couple of weeks Stevens would have played.

So with Stevens signed up and long, hall, and Henry given new deals earlier in the season, by my reckoning that only leaves Mackie and mousinho, Thorne and the loanees ooc at the end of June. (Plus some of the u23s).

I would imagine that Mous will get another year.
Thorne will probably get a short term contract?
