That shot didn’t need closing down as it was so far out. Any lower league goalkeeper should stop that. Very poor and puts this position into question for January. How many points lost by our keepers being flat footed with long range hopeful efforts?

Eastwood struggles with the low ones near to the posts, makes some great reaction saves that are nearer to him and higher up but is just a bit slow and flat footed to get right across the goal to the daisy cutters.

It’s just a question of whether we are going to get a keeper in who can give us what Eastwood is at the moment without that weakness, can’t see it in January.

Rather have a new centre forward in than a new goalie at the moment, Taylor is struggling for form.

Anyone seen a goal cam of their goal that would put a lot of this debate to rest
Although if it’s like their cameraman it’s more than likely pointing at the crowd

340, it was.

Most stood on the terrace & 99% stood in silence for the majority of it. The cracks are becoming bigger between fan-base & club.

People need to wake up. We are sleepwalking in to a huge rebuild on & off the pitch.

Something needs to change & fast.

This love will last forever? I don’t think it will for a quite a few at this rate.

🫣😥
390??
Would normally have thought nothing of taking a weekend out for this 560 mile round trip, hotel for 2 nights. Yesterday, day with family.
Oxford fans, away, silence, words not normally associated with each other. The banner is quite ironic as well. I remember the Saturday those guys, who did a fantastic job, upped and left due to their treatment.

Oh grow up. A shallow empty open terrace never gets songs going because there is no roof to amplify / echo any chants.

It’s been explained already why this was never going to be a packed terrace. World Cup , uncertainty over kick-off time, uncertainty over trains, match on iFollow [emoji1782], it’s in the run up to Christmas.

And for the earlier poster yes it was a nightmare on the trains. The bus replacement Preston to Accrington took about half an hour longer so got there around 2pm instead of 1:30pm

On the way back the 19:09 Preston to Euston was nearly an hour delayed, and when it did turn up we all had to get off at Crewe and get the train that was an hour behind and also delayed. No explanation why the train we were on couldn’t continue to Euston. Eventually arrived at Euston possibly 59minutes after the 19:09 was due.

Oh and my train ticket which included seat reservations to/from Euston was apparently only valid for routes via Oxford.

To finish off , I got back to Waterloo in time to get the last fast train home, but they managed to make it 15 minutes late by adding extra stops.

Will be a fight to get delay repay but hopefully at least 50% of return ticket.

Sorry, thats a load of tosh. How many away games are you basing that on?

Oxford fans, in normal times, are some of the best away supporters wherever we play, for atmosphere. Did you experience conference day, Kettering away, Grays Athletic away?

yes thank you Aldershot, Altrincham, Barnet, Dagenham, Gateshead, Hereford, Southport, Braintree, Eastbourne, Ebbsfleet, St Albans, Tonbridge, Stafford, Tamworth, Hayes, Salisbury, Merstham, Histon, Macclesfield, Kettering, Grays, AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow, Barrow, Crawley, Stevenage, Woking, York, Wrexham.
The away grounds with a roof over a terrace made for a better atmosphere than no roof. behind the goal better than along the side.

Thought it was a great hit and Eastwood shouldn’t be getting it in the neck. Lack of close down of shot did for us.
