Police closed the main roads passing the ground. Big sign indicating 10 minute delay. No complaints, people moving away from the ground in an orderly fashion. Traffic waiting patiently for the roads to become safe again.
Sadly, I did hear that several residents were devastated that they couldn't drive to errm. . . . somewhere, well, I think that's what it was.

Personally thought it was soft but then the Ref did give a good number of soft free-kicks.

Its more the fact that you lot play a similar way to us that can be easy on the eye, there's no rivalry (for now) and us & peterboro dont really like each other , tho I couldnt tell you why other than their fans are male genitals.

Lovely to see his reaction too, had his fair amount of stick (some deservedly so as with most of the team) but he showed great passion and you can really see what that save meant to him and the team. Didn't he get across that goal quickly, outstanding save.
 
to be fair to the posh fans we would be saying exactly the same if we lost to a team playing the way we did tonight.

However I could not give a flying monkeys - I did not know that this team had that in them. We employed all the dark arts and then some. Earlier in the season we couldn’t hold onto a lead for 10 mins to tonight where we were so structured and disciplined and whilst they had chances for the amount of possession they only really threatened twice and when they did long and cumming were respectively heroric. Unbelievable night.

If he was consistently brilliant he wouldn’t be playing for a league 1 club …. But thank goodness he had a good game tonight when it really mattered
 
incredible, defensive performance and happy to see us grind out a result like that. Wasn’t pretty but the lads were absolutely class tonight.

it’s going to have to be football on phones at my mum’s wedding come the 18th 😬
 
Knew it was a mistake to book an anniversary week away in Tuscany.
