He let Lincoln get away with too much.
There was far more than 6 minutes wasted time in the second half.
It sounded as if it was a poor decision for the penalty.
Murphy and Browne were hammered and in my view more protection should have been given to them

Awful. Gave plenty of yellows but there were plenty more he didn't give. Lincolnshire time wasting went unpunished. Gave 6 minutes when at least 10 was more accurate and of the six the ball was in play for 2 of them. Zero protection for our players at all. Very poor indeed. I was at the game but couldn't see whether he got the penalty correct or not from the East stand

Awful ref. Got their penalty wrong, missed a clear penalty on Harris. Blew the final whistle about 4/5 minutes early. Stupid **** who doesn’t know the rules.

Out on a limb here but I didn’t think he was too bad - until the final quarter when he started to lose control.
was ok first half but definitely got worse.
How the f**k was 15 not sent off with a second yellow for the foul on Brannagan?

how the f**k did their number 6 get away with everything he got away with? ( gobbing off at swabey arguing with decisions, kicking lumps out of our players, shithousing, and conning swabey ALL game)

Ref lost control of the game very early on and was extremely card-happy. Also wasted way too much time and missed two absurdly blatant fouls late in the game on us.

When you're giving out cards left and right and people are saying it should have been more, and earlier, then you know it's been a tough match. My main issue with him was his body language and failure overall to control the match in a way that the really good officials know how to.

Case in point the foul on Murphy by the box in the first half. Whistles correctly, lets the perpetrator off to walk into the box, realises he has to book him, ambles over to the middle, cards him, walks back to nowhere near where the foul was made, Lincoln then get in his ear, ball is moved slightly closer to where the ball should have been, Lincoln unhappy, allows the wall to come two yards too close, Oxford unhappy. Not good management of the situation at all.

He was also not helped by his colleagues in controlling the time added on.

That said, his big calls (our no penalty, their penalty, the red card and also majority of the bookings, though some should have come earlier) were by and large correct taking off the yellow glasses.

Terrible ref. He somehow managed the trick of throwing cards about and simultaneously having absolutely no control of the game. Lincoln's time wasting was mostly ignored - to the extent that he allowed Lincoln players to come up to him repeatedly and have a nice little chat, with their number 9 enjoying the conversations so much he was sprinting half the length of the pitch to have a word. He should have given more cards early in the match (which would have stopped Lincoln having a rota of foulers on Murphy for example) and told people to sling their hooks when approaching him. The added time at the end was simply ridiculous.

Had no control and tried (badly) to gain it by wafting cards around.
The penalty calls were exactly the ones you talk about in the pub after!
Sadly he made a single game changing call for them and not for us..... such is the game.

Poor 4 from me.

He makes his own rules up on added time, with not adding time on when a player claims injury but doesn't actually have treatment, as well like I remember earlier in the season.

Badly lost any control in the last 25 minutes. The added time was farcical, we played less time than their players spent on the ground.
