Can we do it again?
For Lincoln- they have to win, so will have to go for it.
I like the idea that we have some tough games coming up. If we make the play offs , we will hopefully go in with some form against sine very good teams. Suddenly teams in the play offs won't be so keen on playing us.
If fully fit, I would play Cam and JM seems to struggle fitness wise playing full games.
A win and we are nearly there. Hopefully another near on 10k crowd. What an end to the season this could be.

Will be a different game - Lincoln have the joint best defense in the division (unlike Posh, who are built like one of KR's teams) and I suspect that they will try and keep it tight, for at least the first 60 minutes, even though they need to win. So we may need a little more patience.

I wouldn't change the lineup if we don't have to - though Cam, Moore, Bennett & Goodwin all come back to the bench if fit.

Win Tuesday, and we might just be able to give some key players a rest over the last two games! We would only need one more point.

Lincoln have to win so canโ€™t see it being a draw as they will pour forward unless they have something to hold on to.

First goal will be very crucial.

Agree, but Goodwin won't feature before the playoffs, according to Des yesterday. Bennett unlikely to feature before Friday either.

It will be good to create our own yellow wall like Dortmund.

In only a week we've gone from this being a game where a win may not have been enough, to one where a draw may still be a decent result.

That said, Lincoln are beatable and if they lose possession in our half then Murphy, Harris and Dale will absolutely love getting in behind them and can destroy any team.

Another 4 nil will be hilarious, but a slightly more sedate but effective 2-0 home win will do just fine.

A draw is no good to Lincoln. They will need to come at us.
We will have to soak up their pressure, and hit them on the break.
That suits us.

Having said that, I think that they will be too timid to go at us properly until it's too late.

0-0 draw

After seeing what we did to a team fighting for the autos I very much feel like we can beat anybody. I think we will let Lincoln have the ball but as soon as they lose it we will hit them on the counter

3-1 ( anything above 4 again would be unbelievable)

2-0 win.

Cumming
Stevens Long Brown Leigh
Brannagan
Dale Goodhram Rodrigues Murphy
Harris

Subs: Eastwood, Thorniley, Moore, McEachran, Bodin, Browne, Henry

Horrible 1-0 win take that now and we could be above Barnsley now that would be good. Then 4 past Stevenage .But honestly it's going to be a tough week. I think I would take 4 points over the week from here .Keep up the good work Boys

Expect this to be a much tighter game and we will probably have to be patient.

If we do have Cam and Moore back it might just change the dynamics with Long going back to RB.

Assuming players from Sat are fit to start again, I would stick with that start up and save the others for a later substitution if necessary.

Get the win and I think we are there ๐Ÿ™ (Blackpool and Barnsley going head to head is a huge bonus) and we will have the luxury of a little bit of squad rotation.

Might end up conceding in this oneโ€ฆ.

2-1 Oxford

It's going to be a knackering week for the players, no doubt. However, form and momentum will surely put an extra spring in their step.

If McEachran is recovered enough from Saturday, I would start him, with Brannagan on the bench, who is still recovering from a lay off (if he has recovered enough to be considered, that is). Play JMc for as long as he can, then bring CB on. I also think Brannagan would potentially be a better option off the bench IF we need to chase a result. I'd also be reluctant to change the starting lineup from Saturday, who definitely hit a sweet spot.

The other good news is after Stevenage, the players have an extra recovery day ahead of Exeter the following Saturday, should we still need something from that game.

IF we beat Lincoln Iโ€™d like to see all of our key players rested against Stevenage, thereโ€™s zero point in making the likes of Murphy, Brannagan, Harris and Rodrigues play yet another game with only a couple of days rest and risk getting injured and missing the playoffs. They can all come back against Exeter on the final day as thereโ€™s the usual breaks then for the Playoff semi finals/Final etc.

Lose against Lincoln and that becomes a little more complicated of courseโ€ฆ

The play off first leg would be the Friday or Saturday after the Exeter game so not a massive rest.
We will also still need at least a point on Friday so play the strongest team then rest them against Exeter.
