Fun fact for the stattos - Cheltenham are the team we have beaten the most since turning professional in 1949. We've beaten them 27 times with Plymouth second with 24 wins and then Portsmouth with 23 (who, incidentally, have beaten us the most with 28 defeats to them - on a par with Bristol Rovers).

not body expert, visually seeing the players not responding to his wants, but you always know f*****g better don’t you.

By the way, I want Des to succeed, but I’m not convinced so far which is the real shame.

We won which is the most important thing, but it was another poor performance. Bar 6/7 minutes in the second half, it was still so flat. Play like that against better opposition (Cheltenham were dreadful btw) and we get nothing from that game.

That’s the most disappointing thing about Saturday (performance) as I’d hoped we’d turned a corner after the Pompey performance, with Des basically saying the same e.g. that the closest the team had got to how he wants them to perform, so to have had another full week on the training pitch which he’s (Des) been saying he needed, so 2 full weeks now, we returned to the same poor style of play/performance. I weirdly actually felt more optimistic about the future after the Pompey game even though we lost than I did after Saturday’s!

We also lack any ideas/creativity on set pieces. It’s almost like I know we’re not going to do anything.

And when we get the ball into the box at the first opportunity e.g. Dale’s cross we scored, as the players know what to expect and can attack accordingly. It’s also more entertaining to watch.

I’d rest Rodrigues tomorrow and go with Harris and Goodwin. Goodwin as the no.10 role with Harris working off of him. Then ask Dale, Murphy, Steven’s & Leigh to delivery the ball into the box at the first opportunity. Put Bolton on the back foot.

And then we have a team who are far more united than many want to present. They will know that a decent result against Bolton will push them further towards the playoffs.

So there's no reason to think that Bolton will be up for this and we won't.

Does anyone on here have any involvement with Rageonline?

I notice they have MATT Murphy down as the first scorer. Much as I always admired Matt that could be a bridge too far!
