Thohir

Because we need the investment in January.
For me, the importance of someone like Thohir coming on board is more to do with the fact that they represent the best chance of getting the stadium situation sorted out rather than team investment. We don’t need to throw large sums at the team, in fact I don’t think we’re allowed to anyway. Sensible, well researched recruitment will be more than adequate.

I dont disagree re the stadium.

Though we are (and i suspect still will be) balls deep in a relegation battle.

Well need something to pull us out of it.

Again there’s talk of a full takeover. I wonder if this is just a rehash of old speculation or if there actually is something substantial to it? It would explain the time it’s taking to announce anything and maybe fits in with the ‘Thohir coming in instead of an associate of his’ scenario.
Not only a rehash of old speculation imo, it's not even accurate. According to the article "Eric also owns American major football league club, DC United" -despite the fact he sold out some months ago

Interesting, very interesting!

However in reality and practical terms what does it mean for the football club and it’s future?

A journey to the promised lands of the Chamionship & beyond with a shiny new stadium , or mired in the bog-lands of Kassam, the local councils and lower league football?
