Nile Ranger

I like to think of myself as someone who believes in giving people a second chance when they've screwed up in life. We never know the full story and often what we are fed is so sensationalised it's almost as if our minds have been made up for us.
Nile Ranger, however, is a different character altogether and if KR signs him then his CV is likely to need updating very soon.

I don't think KR would be thinking about giving him a temp contract if we weren't in such need for a decent striker, now that we have lost the goal scoring machine that Obika was.

I`ve done some thinking............ why WOULD anyone sign him?
Goal scoring prowess? Nope.
Natural leader? Nope.
Team player? Nope.

Desperate & cheap.......probably.

That aside we haven`t got room for all the baggage that comes with him.
You would be more likely to see him scoring gear in the Ley`s than goals at the Kassam.

Doesn’t actually need much thought, to be honest. No thank you.

Obika all ready here

Henry all ready here
I think KR has invested quite a lot in attacking options, though through fitness, poor form we end up with Obika who becomes the scapegoat even though it looks like he would of been 3rd choice.
They will have to off load loanees to be able to bring anyone else in unless they are going to spend money on transfers which is not always the best option this time of year.
Can we bring Nile in on a short term loan? If so have him as long as it doesn’t effect our January business.

A loan ?

Who do we loan him from ? Wormwood Scrubs?

For me, we as a club should not have entertained even the thought of bringing him to the club. Having him pull on a yellows shirt to play in a game is a detriment to our club. It’s my opinion and I feel very strong about it. Although I am a season ticket holder, I will leave the stadium and return home if he plays either from the start or as a substitute. That’s how disgusted I am with Robinson even entertaining the idea of signing him.

To be fair though your type will always find something to moan about.

To be fair your reply is anything but. If Nile Ranger is looking for redemption then he needs to start that process back in his own neighbourhood working with kids who will end up like him if he doesn't teach them that his way is/was wrong. He's done absolutely nothing in his life so far to have the privilege of putting on a shirt for Oxford United.

That is a racist comment. It is also a homophobic comment. It’s is also a gender insult. Your post should be removed.

Exactly it should be a privilege to wear the shirt. Most if not all OUFC fans would love to wear the shirt playing for Oxford United. Why should this waste of space be given a free pass to do so.

Is this a whoosh comment or genuine comment?
