And that’s what’s so depressing. We have been here before, but there has always been a light at the end of the tunnel. Under Kemp, next year new stadium. After relegation to the non league, Jim Smith was back - it will only be one season. Now there is nothing. Ground 10 years older, no closer to buying the ground, unclear on the financial stability and a manager who in a single interview defends the players and then slags them off. We are s**t, Tiger needs to act before the 50% that believe in him start to believe he can’t finance the club.

Thats the worrying thing. Most clubs would have got rid by now. If Tiger lets this carry on you have to question his motives for being the owner. He probably can't afford to sack him and Derry and is waiting for a money man to come in.

I’ve already heard the “I wanted this player and that player” spiel and it doesn’t wash. Two players were named who he wanted and couldn’t get. If they were the only two options deemed better than what we got then that’s a really damning indictment of the recruitment process. Which from what I can gather is a proper throwback to the days of a manager having a little black book and doing a ring around. That’s the alarming part - it’s all gone.

I still keep thinking how s**t must that player have been that apparently refused to run.

I wonder if Tiger realises the crowds will get smaller and when, and yes when not if we are relegated does he know that the ST sales will fall. If he doesn’t do something soon and I mean before the end of the week he is going to lose a lot a hell of a lot. We have to make do with the s**t we have, I know Carruthers is a good player and I know he was getting game time but to be frank he did nothing tonight and if he is starting him Saturday that could be a mistake, he’s not ready. Sam Smith wtf send him back in January he lacks pace and vision he had a simple one on one race with a Cobblers player and by the time the Cobblers player reached the ball he was some 2 yards behind Yet they started level.
Thought the scouse git mentioned that tonight’s defence wont start Saturday, that’s a great confidence booster for players.
Bring in some of our
U 23’s they can’t be much worse. I think Armani Little could be useful puts himself about and young Bradbury he has to be better than the strikers we have already.
