When was the last time we produced a proper 90 minute performance, where we've played according to plan consistently for a whole match?

Bolton at home, I'd say. That's 2 months ago.

Besides the drag of injuries and players who lack resolve, we lack organisation and i don't get any impression of grip from Buckingham. He also needs more on field leadership. I don't have much confidence that if he says what he wants, players can actually deliver it.

It's pot luck. Once the whistle blows, we get whatever we get. Which is, mostly, drift.

Frustrating, luck just not on our side at the moment. Cumming has been poor and should have done better for all of the goals. Leigh has been off it, Maceachran sub has removed all control we had of the game. Encouraging signs in the second half but still lacking that edge in the final third - time to end the window strongly and give Des the players he needs.

Should never have hit this run of games without them. 1 maybe, not 3 or 4. We knew it was coming with plenty of time to plan. No confidence that we’d have beaten Northampton on these last 2 performances but we’ve got nish from a crucial run of games, allowing other sides to enter the race.
