I hate that the minority on here were right about Des Buckingham. Shocking appointment for someone who hasn’t got a clue at this level and couldn’t recruit a no.2 cos he barely knew anyone in the UK who would go with him. Made worse with paying compensation. Not his fault at all. Poor board decision
Why didn't you highlight this after the Carlisle game?

I got so bored half way through that I wandered off and was chatting to my wife about whether we need a new vacuum cleaner! Absolutely dismal. If every shot we tried had gone in, we'd still be losing.

I'm not going to bother watching the 2nd half after watching that crap it's actually pissing me off

I would have been in favour of recruiting Eustace, not having to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds compensation and then having the finance to recruit in both positions
With the benefit of hindsight, that was maybe the appointment to make.

I understand Des has been disadvantaged and I feel for him in so many ways, he’s not to blame, but we haven’t put the right people around him so it was a pointless and poor appointment. with every game it’s harder to make excuses because he seems to fix nothing and break something else. It’s unravelling for us at an alarming pace.

I think you can just tell the players aren’t feeling it with Des by the way they’re playing. It’s only natural as they probably had a great coaching set up with Manning and Hogg and the environment Des brings sadly may not compare

Absolute utter gash. A collection of 11 individuals without even a vague semblance of tactics. Rovers have to wait and mop up a high ball down the wings or press us high in midfield and they are suddenly in business (and they don't even look very good!)

Cumming at fault for first goal. Brannagan along for the ride for the second.

Nobody above a 4/10 performance in that half.

Sort it the f*ck out you bunch of pansies!

The worst thing is we'll soon have that Blackpool fan back on our forum, mocking us.

There's been some pretty bad halves of football from us this season, but that one takes the biscuit.

Absolutely no threat up front - our only strategy seems to be to ping the ball down the channels and hope the Rovers' defenders screw up.

And then we've got plenty of bodies in defense, and ought to be handling this poor Rovers attack with ease, but we've gifted them two goals through shocking defending and equally shocking keeping.

But we've got nothing on the bench to change it unless Burey suddenly turns out to be a lot, lot better than he looked on Tuesday.

Hopeless.

So why haven’t we recruited wide players and strikers who are fit to play in the last 27 days? The one who is can’t even get in the starting 11, so all in all a disastrous January as far as the squad is the concerned.
Because we're a middling League One side who pay average wages for an expensive part of the country.

And we got unlucky/lucky to discover a injury during a medical for a striker they'd clearly done a lot of work on to get. Unlucky as he misses a few games, lucky he didn't play, make it worse and miss a good chunk of remaining season.

Yeah he maybe a bit scary but not as ruthless and scary as LM.
