That Bristol Rovers game ... but I take your point..
 
The minute you make the substitutions we made today is the minute you declare any attacking intent in the game is over.

Not for the first time this season we have gone through the game one paced , with a severe lack of press against a , with all due respect, very limited side and come out of the other end wanting. Is it the coaching? An attitude thing ? Or just we're not that good?
The fact Northampton brought Hylton on and his gamesmanship/ ability/ shithousery call it whatever you like , created their chance . What the hell did our changes create ??
 
Cheltenham away shocking ,Reading away shocking ,Northampton away shocking Peterborough away could have been 6 -0 ,that's 1 point from 12 relegation form if we can't buck up our ideas . It was a shambles of a performance we certainly need some help from some where.
 
Awful performance to be honest, didn't deserve anything from the game.

Let's hope the players turn up on boxing day.
 
The team needs a rebuild. New strikers, and defenders. Also I’d imagine a new goalkeeper. I can’t see Eastwood cutting it if James Beadle moves to a championship club. He probably wants to move having witnessed recent performances

He needs to get more assertive and kick some arses or else he’s going be under real pressure pretty darn quick.

I’m a big believer that a team takes on the personality of its manager. We are too passive. The whole club needs to start showing some passion ffs!

Experienced assistant an absolute must. I'm not joking when I suggest someone like Steve Cotterill needs to come in..

I think you can question Des after any defeat, but wider context is needed. Apart from Bennett none of them are his signings, we’ve lost some key players and still have crucial holes in the squad (like up front).

We were also fighting relegation last season, and even under Manning we knew that not all the problems in the squad would be fixed in one window. And also with Manning we weren’t playing the best stuff just before he did leave, the gaps were starting to show.

Whilst Des hasn’t gotten everything right so far, let’s just give him a bit more time. After all, Karl had 5 years and I’ve seen some horrific performances from his teams.

Des has signed a 3.5 year deal, so isn’t going anywhere. Whilst some criticism is valid, it seems like a few are jumping on the ‘I told you so’ bandwagon already because they wanted whoppers like Steve Cotterill instead.

I know a few Northampton fans. They really see us some kind of local rival. It's a big game for them when we play them. No idea why. Plus what is it with the Rafael Benitez impression?

Disappointing result. We never play well or get good results in league games at Northampton.
I wasn’t at the game today and listened at home but we massively need 2 strikers in January with Perkins going back to Leeds and O ‘Donker going out on loan as nowhere near good enough at present if ever. Injuries combined with a lack of strikers have hurt us big time. I really hope we can get through the next 3 games without any further injuries or defeats and then strengthen particularly up front quickly as Harris would be a useful addition to wider options with Browne and Edwards out for longer than expected.
