So with a little over a week left, we’re up to 66 confirmed emails to Cabinet and 16 maybes.

Assuming that the maybes all write in, we’ll be up to 82.

Given the number of excellent posters on here who love their club, I reckon we can get that up to three figures.

Let’s get this up to 100 over the next 7-8 days - it takes minutes but will a real difference for the future of our club.

Have to say I am somewhat surprised that one person on this thread has chosen not to send an e-mail to Councillors according to the poll

Obviously that is their right, but in the situation we find ourselves in I would of thought every e mail in support of our move must be a good thing.

Any chance of you changing your mind?

Don't be so reasonable, I demand a witchhunt, who's with me?

I think a constant steady stream of positive emails to OCC is actually better than one big push, it feels less orchestrated that way.

Get those emails in, don’t leave it to others.

another one gone in today ( to county council cabinet) - asked a mate to send an email , even though he's not a football fan. reminded him earlier, ah Ive not done that yet he said. then, there n then sent a short supportive email including asking for no more delays

took him 5 mins tops

keep sending them in if you haven't already

This is a really important point.

I asked a few members of my family back on 4 August if they would be happy to send a quick email to the Cabinet. Everyone immediately said yes.

Asked them about it yesterday and none of them had done so as it had slipped their mind. I resent them the OxVox link and within fifteen minutes, three more emails had gone in.

Keep mithering friends and family, folks!

Sent to all Cabinet members. Still have to send to my local councillor which I'll do a slightly different email for tomorrow. There is another from a family member which may have already gone in.

My 12 year old wrote to the cabinet members today. He is a season ticket holder and put it in his own words about wanting to be able to watch his team with his dad and his gramps in the future.

Great to hear.

Actually, if people do have children who could also email in, that would be useful too. Not just for the obvious sympathy (!) but because they'll benefit from OUFC playing in a top-class facility for longer than any of us old farts will.

They can make an argument for the safeguarding the club for years to come so they and their future generations can enjoy it.
