He's a good guy, Mark Lygo - reffed a few of my son's youth matches - excellent referee, and all round decent chap.

But if they have the time and money, could they force so many delays it becomes unworkable?
Obviously it's a scummy thing to do, but I wouldn't put it past them.

They're seasoned campaigners and will use every trick available to them. That they'll use every delaying tactic available is unquestionable.

And the club will have expected exactly this kind of seasoned and determined opposition.

Things have gone well up to now, there's no reason to be afraid.

I wonder how the new stadium will benefit the owners without as much commercial stuff as Stratfield Brake would've included. Obviously there will be the concourses etc but wonder what else they can fit on the Triangle.

It will be interesting to see the proposed plans.
Don't you start! Bad enough having Middleton complaining about "redacted this" and "redacted that"

Suzanne has already gone to war with the Cherwell District Council on a housing matter last year so hopefully they will be firmly on our side when we begin talks on transitioning a wasteland into an area of prosperiaty and growth with the new stadium. CDC must be sick of these randomly formed groups popping up that stall or prevent new opportunities - yet these clowns are usually the first to protest when it comes to things outside of their area that get blocked.

Can't wait for Stratfield Brake to become a retail park with Lidl, Tesco, TK Maxx and Homebase in a few years time anyway:ROFLMAO: They will come to regret that especially with no prosperity hopes for South East Kidlington now. Thank god we got our second option which kinda came out of nowhere but it's a great opportunity to turn a wasteland into something incredible.

All those commie Kidlington's fools made a tit of themselves on the grand stage which will go down in history - imagine trying to protect a few cowpats than create an opportunity like this:cool: Big respect to the residents that did support the move and spoke so eloquently against local aggression and delusions.

YellowTaxi is absolutely gutted.

I’m delighted -that the childish behaviour of certain people associated with the club in abusing opponents appears not to have jeapordised the the bid - so far .

It was great to see so many wrote & spoke in favour of it including Liz Brighouse the labour leader on the council.

It’s very important that we maintain unity -
Those who try to turn it into a party political issue, those who try and whip up hate against residents groups and those who make threats or publish personal information are likely to damage the long term future of the club. I’ll be focusing on continuing to speak up positively for the stadium (whilst campaigning to ensure it delivers the many community benefits )

I hope the rest of you will be doing the same.
