Sorry, but speaking purely for myself, no.

Well I don't doubt you or your sources Mr Birdio and I'm very keen that Karl is held to account if he doesn't perform - at the very least - to budget.

I can just see a mechanism by which Portsmouth, Charlton, Barnsley or Peterborough could exceed our budget. I guess I'm suggesting that what's true now may not be true in January.

I was having a lovely Bank Holiday Sunday. Thanks for bringing back memories of the Robertson, Jarman, McGuckin, McGowan combo.

It's now ruined.

I won't mention Emiliano Diaz, Xemi, Jon Narbett, Arthur Gnohere, Alex Jeannin, Ricky Sappleton, Terry Parker or Kristaps Grebis. ;)

Having talks with a player, and bidding are two different things.

We should be able to offer Salford and the player a good deal. If I was OUFC manager I’d be all over that. Baldock won’t stay injury free once he’s returned. So this big powerful lad would be my main target up top. He ticks so many boxes.
I presume we’re very much around this situation and you’d have thought KRs history with him will play a part… we can hope.

Strange situation with Jones
Played most of the pre season games and got plenty of praise from the management
But now seems to be the whipping boy even though he's barely featured
Wasn't great in the first 45 minutes v Swansea but neither were any of his team mates in that first half
I suspect Jones is injured, and KR is simply trying to save face, rather than admit another of his ridiculous summer signings has gone tits up.

I’ll be so disappointed if we sign Anderson. Never done anything anywhere in nearly 10 seasons, I don’t care if he’s on Lazio’s books, at 27 his history tells us he’s not done much, and not played much! He’s also quite small yet again (5ft 8)

Interestingly on Rad Ox last night they were saying the link is he was in the Suriname squad for the friendly in Thailand, the same game Wildschut played in. They alluded there was possibly some connection here maybe with Tiger?

This one just doesn’t sit right and I can imagine he’s not fit or anything like ready to go by any stretch of the imagination. If we sign him I don’t actually think Karl will be too happy from yesterdays comments?

Let’s get in someone who’s fit, played regularly and knows what’s needed in league one, and got some proper physicality. Please Oxford!!

We will see Tuesday night.

I’ll be shocked if he isn’t given 90 minutes in the pizza cup!

Barnsley in for Thomas-Asante..

Couldn’t give a handful of f**k about the thoughts of some on here, but if there was ever a player that is ‘exactly what we need’ then he is just that…

We lost out on Cadden to Barnsley. If we’re serious about promotion, and spending the budget that is available to us, we need to spend what is necessary to get him!

750k+ for Hardie, or the same amount for Thomas-Asante? No brainier. Get it done!!!

Now both the BBC and Oxford Mail are reporting we are in for Djavan Anderson. What do we know?

Then players transfer to Bundesliga 2, team FC Magdeburg fell through two days ago and is being reported widely in the German region and national press.

Here's one not behind a paywall https://www.volksstimme.de/sport/1-...sfer-von-djavan-anderson-ist-geplatzt-3432864

Surely Todd Kane would be able to settle quicker in Oxford and could be our right beck for years. Well get 15 games from October onwards from this guy before he disappears off to the Swedish second tier.

Lazio fans dont seem to keen on him staying with them and his various loan spells have been a bit hit and miss.

I'd love for this to be a success , valuation seems about right £400k but on a free, 27 seems just about peak for a RB.

If we hadnt had the Clotet years, I'd be all over this one.

I have heard a name that would be a nice signing if we can pull it off. He’d be good at dealing with bad fruit sellers.

In Eastenders, wasn't it the Fowlers who took over the fruit and veg stall? And someone bad would steal, or Rob from them?

Rob Fowler?!

If he's with New Era as well this place will implode!!!
