Transfer News 2022/23 Season Incoming Transfers and a few other things

Ryan also made the observation, that we have sixteen players (18 if you include Tyler and Osian) competing for 6 starting positions. You can argue we can use more players from the bench. The balance of the entire squad is concerning.

Yet we still need to bring in a striker and another wide man, as other than Marcus Browne/Goodhram we have no pace in the attacking areas of the squad. Quite laughable actually.

Do any ‘itk-ers’ actually know what the state of play is with the transfer window now..? Things seem to change daily, or at least with every KR interview. Can we expect any more incoming? Are fullbacks on the list of targets? Is the ‘gamechanging’ striker still happening? All seems to have got a bit murky and confusing 🤷‍♂️
The game changing striker was a myth. Hence the bugging up of Taylor this morning.

Let's be honest there are definately more players coming in. And I think a few. The mood can change very quick one or 2 good signings today and a good win . Fingers crossed
As long as the fuckers are actually fit and not requiring 2 months to catch up!

Just on the Taylor thing. He always has relatively slow starts to the season.
The stats included in the OM article "Taylor did not get off the mark until his sixth game of 2019/20, managed three in his first 12 at the start of 2020/21 and only bagged once in his opening eight matches last term."

If it continues then we can get concerned, but for now, it's the same as every season he has been here.

Heard that we were looking at someone from West Brom but didn't know the player.

MK Dons can get f*cked, do we have the same scout or something, swear they want everyone we want or vice versa

Just watched KR's preview of tomorrow.....hmm.....a lot of the same waffle we have heard for a couple of weeks now.....

I sometimes wish he'd front up and admit some of his failings in his squad building instead of continually rolling out the same bluster and the same excuses....'unlucky'.....'out of our control'.....

If he came out and was honest with us and said he knows we are short and that the recruitment so far has not been very successful, then at least the fans would be a bit reassured that things are going to get better....all we have at the moment is that we're in a better place than last season - really? All these injuries? 3 points from three games? We had 7 points from three games last season!

As I said on my post yesterday on another thread, I am pro KR but he is going to lose the goodwill of a lot of fans and turn some against him if he keeps producing the same excuses and consequently if the results don't improve.

I'd like to see someone else (Smyth/Bate/maybe even Henry as he can tackle, ok he's not the quickest but he can cover the ground when needed and we just need him to sit and help the central defenders!) given a go at the central defensive midfield role, to give McGuane and Cam the licence to go forward and be that creative spark that KR says we need....with those two, Jones/Browne/Bodin we really should have enough to be able to create the chances, now Joseph is here hopefully Matty will find his spark too.

Brian and Dillon were playing in the park, on the far edge of the field Dougall was running along back and forth.

Boing Boing Time for a new player said Zebadee.
