That is a really odd post.
NMcM and others have always said that the recruitment team have a number of options for every position.
The going on holiday jibe seems really unnecessary.
This just seems a bash KR post ( and I am not for one moment suggesting that everything has gone well- it clearly hasnt)

Agreed, how dare a football manager have a holiday in the summer, that is absolutely outrageous from him....

Cam is a Lge 1 player, and whilst he could have gone to a Champipnship club, there wasn’t a queue of clubs waiting to take him. I do think he’s championship standard, but it doesn’t count as he’s not actually come from that level.

Pretty sure we signed him from Liverpool, where he played in the Prem.

I may be wrong, though...

Looks a good signing. That Leeds played him in 3 PL games for a substantial amount of minutes for each of those games is encouraging. But as with all signings it is a wait and see what actually happens.

1 start and 2 subs apps in the Prem in the 15/16 season.
3 FA Cup Starts, 1 League Cup Start and 2 Europa League sub appearances in the same season.
Didn't play for Liverpool again after that season.

Joined Fleetwood on loan in January 2017, playing 14 times as they got to the play-offs.
Then signed for us in January 2018.

Well I have to say I’m surprised we’ve pulled this signing off, albeit a loan, as I think the lad is championship level.

Very promising, and if in four weeks we have signed two full backs and a striker with a good pedigree then I will quite happily eat a trowel full of humble pie. As long as it comes with custard.

Everybody I know has got a source.
It's called idle gossip. With a few added bit's to the story, every time somebody passes it on.
The only source I have messaged me twice telling me Cameron Brannagan wasn’t going and this is someone who has / isn’t OUFC connected. That aside the only sauces I have are tomato brown( not that type 😀) Worcester soy and Oxford sauce.

Probably a good thing we didn't sack our manager yesterday after all.

No Horseradish sauce? I'm disappointed in you.

Looks a potentially very decent signing.

Only concern would be how he handles the physicality of some of the bigger and more powerful sides in League One. Hopefully he’s good enough so that won’t make a difference, but KR has said numerous times we need more strength and power.

Looking forward to seeing him play. Wonder if we’ll still look to sign another midfielder now, given he won’t affect the squad cap as under 21?
Agree, certainly needs to adapt but that's what loans are for, I suppose. Everything you read about him mentions his energy, work rate and my Leeds ST-holding colleague tells me he's a real terrier and when played in the Premier League he more than held his own so really he's got all the credentials to be the perfect loan signing.

The main reason Premier Lge clubs are allowing there starlets to drop to this level, and in particular to this football club, is because they know they will be given minutes. No better way to learn your trade than playing the game, rather than warming up the bench.

Would still like an imposing, ball winning midfielder in the squad - not just the one that is on his way back from an acl injury (before anyone references Gorrin).

We have some lovely centre midfielders/10's (Bran, Bate, McGuane, Henry, Bodin etc) but imo we are still lacking power in the squad which a number of us, even Robinson himself, have mentioned is required in order to compete with the real top teams in this league.

This should well and truly boil the P**s of those that constantly talk shite about Robinson. Bate was approached by championship clubs, but decided to join Oxford instead. Absolute scenes.

ROBINSONS YELLOW ARMY! [emoji590]

Camara from Plymouth is the obvious choice for me. As they turned down a bid from us for Hardin, do you think we’ve asked the question about Camara? Would take a big offer, but he’s in the final year of his deal…
