McGuane Brannagan
Bodin Browne Murphy
Taylor

9 Subs: McGinty or Eastwood, Forde, Mousinho, Brown, Gorrin, Smyth, Henry, Jones, Wildschut (if fit)

Will we make any additions the next few days that come in to the starting XI?​

Well if he is then he will be signed, it ain’t rocket science. Elliott Moore could probably get by as a PL sub, so could Brannagan, so could a few others. Anyone who seriously thinks Kemar Roofe is PL standard hasn’t got a bloody clue about the game of football !

Then why hasn't PL clubs signed Elliott Moore or Cam Bran?

You haven't got anything bang on cause you have just read the derby and sheff wed rumours on here and are just hoping its true. Where ever he ends up, he will probably be the highest paid ex oxford player in history. A quality player.

Funny you should say that as I was renewing my season ticket whilst talking to Nick Merry once and he told me we were about to sign a key player. Then his phone went off and matt greens agent came out of the Kassam and apologised looking embarrassed. Matt Green was signing for torquay himself without his agent

We sort of did that with Tom Craddock when we signed him from Luton on deadline day in 2010. There was an agent present, but it wasn’t his agent.

Jones has been signed for over a week according to "ITK" fans on here yet still no announcement.
When I was closer to the club in the past we'd "signed" a player and he was in the stadium, just had to sign the final contract. News got out on social media and another club came in and offered him more money and the rest is history...

Ah, I remember that. Myles Weston. All excited Waddock was finally making another signing. Then he went to Southend.

More than happy with this 11 for Derby. I really can’t see KR bringing in 2 full-backs and immediately dropping either Long/Brown or Seddon. Not the best way to maintain the morale of your players at the start of the season.

I do agree that we need full back cover, but I think that’ll come later in the window.

I think we’ll bring another striker in before Saturday. Not sure what would happen if Taylor got injured at the moment. Boden in at 10 and Browne up top I guess..?

Not sure we need cover at LB or RB given we have two players for each position.

We will definitely bring a LB in, and likely a RB too, and should be looking to upgrade rather than just pad out

Yes what that team tells me, given that Murphy isn’t even officially our player yet, Wildschut is an injury doubt and there’s no backup for Taylor on the bench, is that we need wingers and strikers, not fullbacks!

I wouldn’t be against another striker coming in. I think Dane Scarlett is heading for the championship, and Kion Etete is going to Derby.

UTO mentioned a big bid had gone in for a striker, but I haven’t seen/heard anything on that, since it was first mentioned. Interesting.

Agree with most of this but would say Browne to the left, have Bodin in behind Taylor & play Eastwood in goal & Perhaps Gorrin for Mcguane as I think we need a genuine defensive minded player in that side who will sit and protect the back 4. Think we do need to two higher quality RB & LB’s as for me Seddon and Long should be used in rotation.

Or to put it another way, if we sign Murphy and Jones, we still need a striker and some fullbacks!
