Findlay transfer won’t be happening for atleast another 7-10 days. Hope KR has a few others sorted by then.

Means we’ll most likely be going to play Derby with either him getting one game with Moore at the back before hand or it’ll be Moore and Brown starting the season.
With so little cover, and having had 4 months recruiting players that is simply insane.
No doubt therefore we will.be seeing findlay on trial at Reading some time soon.

I think Bakrie shot himself in the foot with the we want promotion within 2 years comment. It's not only put pressure on Karl but us fans are becoming inpatient. He should have said we will take promotion if it comes but until the stadium is approved we aren't going all guns blazing to get us up.
You know, if the board were really going for it and desperate for promotion, rather than focusing on the ground and other business interests, they’d make sure we got our top targets, or at least do their very best to make it happen. They aren’t looking on smirking and tut tutting at Karl’s efforts, I’m sure.

On the Sam Long issue, he rolled his ankle in training and is having a scan today as a precaution to ensure there are no ligament issues, but nothing overly concerning. He's otherwise in good shape, the best he's felt going into preseason for a couple of years. He's still expected to play against Coventry but may miss the midweek games.

Tell Beryl we said thanks for the update.

Robinson takes a trip to Ireland to watch, we assume, Dawson Devoy.

Already due to sign for MK according to their fans on twitter.

Another one we've lost out on?
He turned them down in January saying he wanted to get to end of the season. They were always going to be in pole position. Not convinced it was him we were watching.

Callum Doyle of Man City heading to Coventry. Was linked to us via this forum rather than anything in wider media circles.

Unfortunate, but he's worth the wait I reckon.

That interview is very disappointing, 2 games takes us to 17th July, he's hardly going to jump on a plane straight after The FT whistle, so your looking at him getting into the UK around 19th July.

I'm sure he will need time to settle his family in their new home/life so won't be training properly until 21/22nd July...

Thankfully there's still 9 months of the season left at that point. Our squad as it is is good enough for a half decent start with reinforcements coming by the end of August to really get us going

Does he have a family? He’s only 26 isn’t he? Footballers do have kids early of course
