Still no new signing if it’s Whyte then .
Definitely going to be him now you've said that lol.

I think sell-on fees are normally based on the profit after the original fee is deducted, so I can't see it being a factor here.I imagine Whyte might end up being quite a cut price if we have a sell on fee... to ourselves?
I agree to a certain point but if he can re-find his form b4 he left for Cardiff thier is a good player in there and if he brings his shooting boots aswell lolHow do we feel about re-signing Whyte then?
For me, it would be a little underwhelming.
Good player. Many assists. No end product (last season at least).
That said, given half the chance, and if he were to play in the RW position regularly, he may well start finding the net again.
My only concern is that we seem to cycle through the same players expecting a different outcome.
So for me, a good squad player, but to challenge for promotion, we should only be signing better than what we have/had.

If he plays on the right, I'd be content with the signing. He's half the player when played elsewhere. How do we feel about re-signing Whyte then?

That's the thing with KR always tinkering with the side and plays players quite regularly out of their main position and most do struggle to adapt. If he plays on the right, I'd be content with the signing. He's half the player when played elsewhere.
Slight contradiction in your statement there.Good player. Many assists. No end product (last season at least)
Based on last season's performances, also a bit underwhelmed. He looked to have had most of his positive qualities dulled down by his time away. Maybe he can regain them, maybe not.How do we feel about re-signing Whyte then?
We don’t have a kit ready as our commercial team couldn’t get a sponsor!
So our owners have had to sort one!! Nothing to do with holding out for the home games!
We’re close to the overseas centre back. Hopefully this next week. A decent U21 left back from the Premier League on loan. If we can sign one of the two midfielders we’re trying, they’ll be a good signing. One is wanted by a couple of Championship teams, possibly training with one currently, a free agent who was in league 1 last season.
The other has played for a premier league team a couple of times last season, which will be a loan.
Jones will be signed on a pay as you play deal if impresses enough in the games. A deal like Bodin was on last season.
Whyte is available again, we’re interested in a perm. And another winger on loan.
Holland took less wages at MK than we offered.
And after a young striker on loan.
And the whole of my post, that's what you chose to respond to?Slight contradiction in your statement there.
Whyte would be a good player in his position. None of Karl's tinkering.
But. And it's a big but. We are basically rebuilding the same team that was found statically short both in terms of depth and mentality last season. It's not the answer.
AbsolutelyIf Gavin Whyte is indeed signing for us, then it’s a strong signing. He and Browne on either wing is very good at this level.
Gavin has lots of pace as we all know, and is great at creating goal scoring opportunities. My only criticism of Gavin Whyte is his composure in front of goal. At times it feels all a bit rushed, rather than being calm and deciding what to do.
Like I said if he joins then we will have two brilliant wingers on the left and right side.
To some extent. But you don't throw the baby out with the bath water. KR is looking to add quality to what was a strong squad. We have removed the dead wood already. More quality to comeWhyte would be a good player in his position. None of Karl's tinkering.
