At the start of the new stadium thread (back in 2019) he said:

My understanding is that we are far closer to being able to announce something than many people realise, and that once we do then things will happen very quickly. I will go as far to say that I would put a huge amount of money on the fact that we will be in our new home long before we have to worry about the lease running out.

ECYellow is the one worth listening to.

We lost a lot of time through the pandemic and my initial view that we would have had an announcement by the end of 2020 would have been very much closer had that not happened.

With all due respect to @ECYellow, it has been @Colin B and myself who have constantly been banging the same drum regarding the stadium and I look forward to you bringing up the numerous posts to support that soon!

I doubt some will believe even when sat in their new seat at the new stadium

ECYellow posts in the Players Section: "We are signing player x on Tuesday." (First post of preseason)

Tuesday, Oxford United sign Player x. Eggy:"Haha I told you so". ECYellow........ no comment necessary.

Eggy posts in the Management Section: "There is going to be an announcement, this week, next week or within the next few months, but most definitely within 18 months, I'm telling you" (repeats 4 times a day, every day for 2 or 3 years)
ECYellow posts in the Management Section: "There will be a number of announcemnents in the next, starting possibly Monday" (First post of the preseason)

Sunday, Eggy posts in the management section: "Haha, I told you"

Monday, .............

Exciting times :D

For someone who takes such notice of what I post, you get so much wrong!

I've posted a number of times that the takeover was completed and just waiting for the announcement.

EC then posts that the takeover is imminent.

I post that he's jumping the gun a little and get criticised for questioning EC.

EC then posts to say that it's close.

I reply saying "a series of coordinated press releases over the course of next week"

And EC replies, "starting Monday!"

So if anyone was jumping on the bandwagon you could argue that EC was following me, and joked to that effect.

I even posted that @ECYellow, @Wallop and @Front Post were generally very close to things behind the scenes and that their contributions were valued. I know that I split opinion, but I also think that I bring something to the forum even if some can't see that much of it is tongue in cheek!

I get excited by both your posts. I don't know who is ITK though.

Therefore, it's time for a dual. @ECYellow Vs @Scotchegg. Tell us something that we don't know that's happening this week at the club. Your responses can't include information the other dualler has already shared.
