Matches Hull ticket details announced

Its not a farce, the club are doing their best. Postage is a quid to cover costs which is fair enough after my month's if very little income.

As for sitting anywhere, imagine if 800 South Stand ST holders got tickets and they'd sat them all in the South Stand despite there being thousands of empty seats around the ground? You'd be moaning people could have been distanced better! There's no bad view in the ground and the lounges won't be open so it won't be a worse experience for you.

There were always going to be moaners wherever the club did, they're doing their best despite the situation.
It would not take much work for the seats to be allocated pro rata. If you have 50% of season ticket holders in the South stand, 30% East and 20% North, (purely for the sake of example) then the tickets would be allocated on the same percentages. If no South stand season ticket holders applied then those seats could be further allocated to the East and North stand holders until the pro-rata allocations were filled.

As for being a moaner, I would put it that I am merely reacting to the poorly worded announcement. Telling me that I can apply for a "free" ticket to a match when I already have a ticket (or more correctly have paid for a ticket) is not quite the best use of language.
We, Mrs Lounger and I, happen to like the view of the games from our chosen seats and would prefer to be in those seats, should that not be possible, so be it but, that is not clear from the wording of the announcement. Are we to take it that we could be sat anywhere in the ground?

What a shame you cant pay £1 postage, perhaps we could all have a whip round to cover you for the season. Stop moaning, the club is doing its best in the circumstances, i wont be going for awhile as its risky at my age but if i was i would sit anywhere to watch the lads play, even SSU where i would never want to sit. Perhaps its the prawn sandwiches you will miss.
Give it a rest with the prawn sandwich nonsense. It's boring and childish.

Surprised these moaners in the expensive seats aren’t complaining to the club insisting ST holders in the East Stand can only stream the game on ifollow with the camera positioned behind the goal. 😀

Like people are saying it’s a work in progress and short term.

btw I’m SSL but would happily sit anywhere for a game, even Olly’s Den.

You could and given the situation we are in I think is reasonable. However it seems the club are still working on that and what has been announced is for just the Hull.

With respect, you are coming across as a bit of a spoilt child.

So I have to sit separately to my mates (two brothers) all season? I know the survey was submitted in September but I suppose the rules have changed since then in line with the recent Government announcement?

You can meet up with six people outside can’t you?

Anyone know if the football special buses are running? Obviously I'd like to go, but would usually rely on the bus to get up there.

Or, perhaps, someone who has followed the club for many years, including standing in the London Road, travelled up and down the country to attend games and spent a fair share on club merchandise. We also "donated" the offered refund for last season and still paid out £1150 for two 1893 club tickets for this season knowing full well that we were unlikely to see a game in person. (that price would have increased to include access to the bars and lounge)
I am not, nor have I, demanded that we be sat in our normal seats, yes, we would prefer but are prepared to sit elsewhere. However, simply voicing concerns at the wording of this announcement and pointing out how it could be possible for season ticket holders to be sat in, at the very least, their chosen stand, does not make me a "bit of a spoilt child".

Further, this notion that it is amusing to label all SSU support as "prawn sandwich" munching octogenarians who sit on their hands throughout and never, ever raise their voices in support is just nonsensical. Anyone who has sat in the SSU can attest to that. It happens to be where a lot of folk who need to sit down during the game can still find space to attend games. It's where many intelligent conversations about the game take place, it's where guests of the club are seated, it's where many supporters who have followed the club for more years than some have been on this earth sit.
If that is what you meant by "with respect" thank you.

It's a framework. The club won't be able to say where anyone sits until they know who is attending. If the people who sit in the seats next to you, or immediately in front or behind you want to go then someone will have to move! It's not difficult to understand and you are coming across as a little ridiculous in your demands.

It's an almost impossible situation to get everything exactly right, but with very short notice, the club are trying to make the best of a bad situation.

It’s not short notice though, is it.

They’ve had ( or should have had ) the majority of this already worked when the first game was muted weeks back.

They know who the ST holders are. The ones who are likely to attend. They know from the database where they sit and who they sit with.

The club never helps itself in situations like this much to the frustrations of fans and people at the club who, if allowed to be, could have much better and simpler plans in place.

You would have thought OUFC would have something already in place for the return of fans. They’ve had long enough since the last time when fans were allowed back albeit for one game, the club didn’t take up the offer as they weren’t ready, bloody hell you would have thought the club have had long enough to sort this out for the return of fans for next Saturday, NMW said the club were working into the early hours for the solution for next Saturday.
So at what time in the early hours did someone say “ let’s do it on a first come first served basis for your bubble up to 6 People, and go online at 10 am Monday 30th November for your tickets at a cost of £1 “

To all the whingeing bastards on here, if you don't like the arrangements don't f*****g go. I'm sure there are plenty of the people to fill the 1000 seats allocation who might actually enjoy going without complaining about everything

I take it you include yourself in that category?

Supported the club for 71 years and sit in the East Stand and hardly ever miss a game home or away, so age doesnt come into it, if you want the luxuries good luck to you. I prefer the atmosphere and support we get where we are sat.
