Will we come out of the blocks like a team that’s been working toward this minute since lockdown, or will we look like a bunch of blokes getting back together for a kick around after the summer holidays? Ditto for Pompey.

Two risks from my perspective

1. That you go into the first leg seeing it as 180 minutes and are too cautious wanting to still be in the tie after 90 mins. Need to grab the tie and be positive I think our best football this season is when we have been attacking
2. Whoever gets through this tie might subconsciously feel they have done the hardest work.

Genuinely have absolutely no clue on this. Still feels all a bit surreal to me. But if there's one thing you can say about our boys is that we don't half have some heart and that will prove crucial. God speed you Yellows lets bring it home and break the Wembley curse of the last few years (that's an interesting one actually how many of the squads vs Cov & Barnsley are still here? Wembley is going to have no fans no matter what. So it may as well be us there in front of them! And getting there with no fans doesn’t take away from the times we‘ve gone before, or the future times we will go ?

For the 1st leg, I have a vague notion that Gavin Ward isn't very good but may be mixing him up with somebody else. As for the 4th Official ***shudder***.

For the 2nd leg I don't recognise any of the names.

Portsmouth crowd noise must be second easiest in football. One song interspersed with occasional cow bell.

I have said since November that I think we'll lose in the play off final. Always just felt it would happen.

Still feel like it's a bit of a free hit. Underdogs. Covid. etc. Less build up. Can't be there.

Put it this way- it's less bad getting to the play offs and getting knocked out in these circumstances than normal. It's also less good winning the play offs and getting promoted in these circumstances than normal. So less pressure and build up. And I can stave off that massive stroke I'll have if I watch the play offs in person.

I say the above but I can't bear it already. I'm a mess.
