I’m not trying to just disagree with you for the sake of it but it did seem to me, from the videos/news reports that I’ve seen (I didn’t go to any of either protests) that the BLM protests had much more of an equal race and gender mix than the ones yesterday, which did seem to be overwhelmingly white males, whereas the BLM protests did have a much larger proportion of women and a mix of races.

I agree with you though in that both sides have idiots. If we could just get rid of the fringes at both ends of the spectrum then maybe we could get on with having a decent society!

He didn't reply, of course, but one of his fellow morons declared they were defending Churchill who saved this country from the Nazis. What do you do with people who are so ignorant and so thick that their minds somehow make sense of what they're doing?

And I wonder if the predominately white BLM members hadn’t dragged Colstons statue and f the plinth and then tipped into the harbour, would we have had these violent clashes, or is it a case of very thick personal protesting?

perhaps you could give some examples- I think the reason why you and others focus on Khan doesn't have to do with incompetence- otherwise you'd be a lot harder on his corrupt predecessor as Mayor of London who wasted 50 million pounds on an unbuilt garden bridge and handed over a hundred grand to an unqualified American who have hime "technology lessons.

And since he's become prime minsiter has been responsible for many thousands of excess deaths

So I don't think it's about incompetence.

And there was I thinking he was caring, congestion charge was 5 days a week from 0700 - 1800 now Khan as soon as the ease of lockdown was announce it became 7 - 22.00 7 days a week and no exemptions for disability the bloke doesn’t give a s**t about disabled

Whilst the vast majority of companies/people were getting support through this situation, Johnson's Govt decided to politicise any financial support TfL got by putting stipulations on it whilst not doing so for others. TfL were expected to continue running services by the Govt whilst their income fell over a cliff but as said TfL only got support with significant strings attached so you can blame the Govt as much, if not more depending on your viewpoint.

If you hold a valid Blue Badge in the European Economic Area, you're eligible to register for a 100% discount, even if you don't own a vehicle or drive. (If you have an organisation Blue Badge or are applying on behalf of another person, for example a child, please see 'Applying for Blue Badge discount on behalf of someone else' below).

You can register up to two vehicles that you would normally use to travel within the Congestion Charge zone. This could be your own vehicle, or one you travel in.

You can apply for a discount online but you'll need to supply certain documents to show you're entitled to the discount.

Documents you need to provide
You need to provide us with a copy of both sides of your Blue Badge plus one of the following proofs of identity:

  • DSS benefit entitlement letter (less than 7 months old)
  • Current passport
  • Current driver's licence
  • Pension book/entitlement letter (less than 7 months old)
  • Birth certificate (same first and last names as the Blue Badge. Not a Certificate of Registration of Birth)
  • Marriage certificate (same first and last names as the Blue Badge)
  • Current bank or credit card Statement (no more than 3 months old)
  • Deed Poll Certificate (same first and last names as the Blue Badge)
You can upload images of these documents as part of your online application, or you can send copies by post or email later on.

Until we confirm your application is successful you must pay the charge for journeys within the zone.

Cost
You have to pay £10 to register for the Blue Badge discount. This will need to be renewed in line with your Blue Badge expiry date. As long as you renew within 90 days after the expiry date, you will not need to make a further payment.
