National News Covidiots.....

Was the same here. They opened up the pubs last Monday, lasted one day as customers totally ignored the social distancing and then all pubs were reshut back down.

That's what a lot don't get, it's a test and if you ignore it, the accessibility to do or have something will be take away again for even longer.
It's an odd one though isn't it. The whole purpose of a pub isn't really drinking (for most of us!), it is interacting with other people and meeting friends (with drink as the social lubricant, maybe!). If pubs are opened here with the proviso that you can only go to the pub with someone you are living with and have to stay 2 metres apart from everyone else (which is not even going to be possible in practice) then either people won't go, or they will go and break the rules.

I’ve stopped thinking about miles per gallon, I’m now doing weeks per gallon.
I haven't been to a petrol station since first week in March, looking like it will get to June before I need to think about the next visit.

headline in today’s Sun on the BBC website claims a Prem footballer took a private jet to Paris, hired a restaurant for a party with friends and then had his way with a lady friend. Not sure even the widest interpretation of the more relaxed rules allow that. Anyone seen Kyle Walker recently?

While the English gov financial help for self employed website (which went live during last week, and has crashed more or less on a daily basis) , in Scotland help of a financial nature is less problematic to gain access to the system.....and its very wide in the self employed help on offer north of the border ! ..
