Our squad tested yesterday and report now on OUFC website. Nothing from Crewe yet but as they don't have a midweek game I guess they don't have quite the same urgency.
But then again they could all turn up on Saturday and get the result then that they’re all positive and stupid

So do these count as close contacts for the track and trace 14 day self-isolate? (For the Crewe squad who were playing / training with the 2 affected players).
Or is there a professional sports exemption?
If just one player in a squad causes that whole team to shut down for 14 days how will matches get played?
RB reckoned leagues below the Championship would finish within 6 weeks, I think from the financial implication of no crowds, but what also if matches can't be played?

"Close contact" definition for T&T is "within 2 metres for 15 minutes or more".

So Coach travel it might apply to 30% of the exec-style coach, training doubtful, sitting down for a meal?? Using a hotel gym?? ..... then throw the pro-sport exemption in the mix that allows them to train & play.

Can see why the EFL are putting their fingers in their ears, shutting their eyes and going la,la,la.

“Nantwich chairman Jon Gold said: “Following Saturday's FA Cup game against Barwell on Saturday, a small number of players reported feeling unwell on Sunday and as such registered and undertook Covid-19 tests.

“As a matter of urgency and precaution and this has so far resulted in one positive test and we await results on the rest of the squad.

“However, as a matter of protocol and safety and in consultation with the league and Public Health England, tomorrow’s away game at Gainsborough has been postponed and we will await the outcome of the remaining tests and seek further guidance once these are known, before determining if and when future games can be played.”

Interesting how a non-league club not that far from Crewe seem to take a more cautionary approach to games when a player tests positive for Covid 19.
