Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

How long before one of the following happen? You could almost make a bingo card out of it:

KR says...
1. "we want to do our business early"
2. "signing is imminent, maybe even before tomorrow/next match"
3. "we need four players in this window"
4. "actually, it's looking more like two players"
5. "we were looking at two players, but now we have to look elsewhere"
6. "the end of the window is looming, the board have to back me"
7. "all the centre backs we were looking for, the clubs were asking for silly money"
8. "XYZ is an exciting left winger and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do"

We're at point 5 by the looks of it...wonder if the board meeting yesterday went well (point 6).

Browne, Cadden, Whyte, Holland...

The clamour for former players to return should just serve to show that our recruitment team actually are pretty good at their jobs. We are in flying form, with no obvious holes in the first team, so what’s the rush? The players will arrive and will probably continue to be savvy signings.

KR probably has a list of players he’d like to bring in. I’d be surprised if we could name any of them!

I think Nathan Holland will be coming back.
We might be letting Eastwood out on loan reading to replace him.
At the moment we don’t have too much problem scoring so maybe looking for another defender

Appears we missed out on Cadden and Whyte, hopefully Holland is still a possibility...

Makes a lot of sense, he joins a bigger better club with a nice ground, gets them promoted, signs up with a fat fee and goes back to Cardiff and kicks their ass!
Didn’t Hull council build them a ground and then give it to the club?

Oxford is in a great location to attract a large fan base, sat between London, Birmingham and the south cost there are no really big established clubs. Reading are trying hard I guess.

We don’t have the ambition to sort the ground out it would seem. Without it we will never be able to compete with the likes of Hull.

Council funded the project (through selling their majority shareholding in KCOM) and still own the ground.

The football club and rugby league club are basically tenants, with the ground operated by a stadium management company on a 50 year lease.
