Close call between American hard gums and Sweet peanuts. The former were always a favourite but the latter took on a cult status for me after I managed to buy an entire jar and took with me on tour of Scandinavia. - Happy days!

I haven’t seen these for years. Do you all live in villages with a cute sweet shop, or have a local Woolies?

Considered Pear Drops, also Rhubarb & Custards.

But in the end it was a toss up between Sour Apples and Sherbert Lemons.

Sour Apples gets my vote.

Probably a bit too niche for this poll, but a particular favourite of mine is Moffat Toffee, always pick up a tin of these when north of the border.

I like the Rhubarb and Custards, but like many of this type of sweet they have a texture like 600grit sandpaper when you start them - which I am not keen on.

What about fizzy bubblegum cola bottle things in pick’n’mix? Surely they win
