It would be good if the efl investigation actually released its findings. Suspect it is just a sham. Has any club been asked to justify the decision to not play. 3 backroom staff out of 4 cases is not a good enough reason to postpone.

EFL rules require that a game must be re-arranged at "the earliest reasonable opportunity" and once we both exited the FA Cup at the first attempt, this was always going to be the date

Sensible to get games in as soon as possible given the late start to avoid a backlog of fixtures even if it is s**t having to watch it on my own.

Agree. Especially as one was the goalkeeping coach and Wellens claimed there was no way a pro club could play a fixture without someone to 'warm' up the keepers!! What piffle they could warm themselves up. And I would say that if KR tried that on.

Yes, there would have been some hilarity in being given a walkover against the Scum. And yes, the EFL are a joke organization for not having any rules regarding Covid postponements. But seriously, it'll be an order of magnitude better if we give them another good kicking on the pitch.

Plus, we've had enough Saturdays without football already this season. Now instead of yet another open weekend, we've instead got the biggest game on the calendar to watch. That's a good thing, right?

Real, real shame. Tiger's claim that it would be played in front of fans was one of my few highlights of the week.

Disappointed with this date , was hoping at least to watch the game in a pub/ home with pals , now can’t do either
I genuinely do take the covid stuff seriously, but this is one occasion that I might make a small exception.

The EFL make rules up as they go along. Tranmere were forced to play or get a points deduction and fine as I understand it. So they put some kids out to make up the numbers, and then lost the fixture. Just more incompetence from the powers that be.

Same here. I was hoping for one of the free Tuesday nights early 2021.
If only one of us had got through to the FA Cup 2nd round - we’ll maybe not Swindon lol.
