Great to see the matchday activation counters back in action
OUFC do not get to dictate away allocations, over and above the minimum 10% requirement. If ECFC want to sell the tickets to home fans then that is their prerogative as the home team, rather than an OUFC oversight.
It’s not straw man at all.Straw man there, EC.
Of course Exeter are within their rights to limit our allocation - that misses the point. I was simply hoping for clarification that this was indeed what had happened - and that OUFC had done all they could to ensure the maximum allocation for our supporters (for what could be the biggest game of the season - they have previous for simply taking their eye off the ball in these matters, after all).
I thought it possible that we were given an 'initial allocation' and didn't ask for any extra, as seems to be the norm there...
Final home fixture ECFC v OUFC - 12:30 kick off.
I have been trying to buy a pair of tickets for this game. There are only a few single seats remaining according to City’s ticketing site. I have tried to call ECFC several times but just get an answering machine. Anyone know whether I’ve missed out,or will more seats be released?www.exeweb.com
I also don't believe these additional Block L seats have been released to Exeter fans (yet) - much like our vaunted SSU Block 12 tickets these appear to be bonus late additions on occasion.
Perfectly happy to have it confirmed that Exeter have given us a firm 'f*ck right off' but don't think it's unreasonable to ask the question.
Just want to ensure we have as many of us there as possible. I would have thought that someone who spends half their time on here berating our support levels might appreciate the sentiment?
I was a regular donor for this sort of thing. The Oxford Fanatics debacle put an end to that. Thief(ves). Plain and simple. Is this to help the group "Oxford Fanatics"? What happened with the money raised last time for the display that never happened? Wasn't that supposed to go to future displays?
Sadly, this is my take on the situation as well. I have queried this with the Yellow Army and they tell me that this is different. All the same, I will not donate until I have seen evidence that funds are used appropriately. I have purchased some streamers from Amazon and will take them on Saturday.I was a regular donor for this sort of thing. The Oxford Fanatics debacle put an end to that. Thief(ves). Plain and simple.
It's not a must win for Oxford either .I doubt very much Peterboro’s away support will help our efforts to sell 10,000. Long way and awkward journey. Pretty much guaranteed a playoff place anyway with Fleetwood and Cheltenham to play and a couple of games in hand. Not a “must win” for them as it is for us.
Can the Yellow army be trusted? Who knows where the money is going.Sadly, this is my take on the situation as well. I have queried this with the Yellow Army and they tell me that this is different. The SSU regulars will be horrified! I may, accidently, of course, launch one into the directors box.
If any of the young fans participating are in anyway connected to the Fanatics, perhaps they could remind them that funds are still not accounted for and that they might like to hand them over to the Yellow Army.

This is the problem left by the actions of the so called "Fanatics" - mistrust and doubt. The Yellow Army has indeed, been around for quite a while and has the trust of many. They are now striving to organise things amongst supporters to raise backing for the team on match days. Not, I imagine, an easy task.Think the Yellow Army has been around for quite a while tbf.
Further decent sales yesterday of just over 200. We were at 7,709 at midnight.Another good day of sales yesterday left us at just over 7,500 home GA sales at midnight, meaning another 250 sold in the previous 24 hours.
For a Saturday 3pm kick off we normally sell between 1,500/1,900 from this point on, so should do over 9,000 home sales. I'll see if I can find out anything about Peterborough's sales at their end, but would be surprised if it was less than 1,000. Therefore 10,000 should be on.

I now expect higher sales today, followed by higher still on Friday, and hopefully good on the day sales, especially if the weather is as good as forecast.
Appreciated. I use to be in charge of Ultras funds, I filed receipts and evidence of costs for everything spent on displays and general matchday stuff. The donations were vital but I still found myself having to invest my own money to double the donations in order keep it running to the standards we set. Anyone that wanted a custom flag made was shown evidence of cost from the manufacturer we were using, I would never even dream of profiting from Oxford fans wanting flags made that would improve colour inside the ground, even if it went into the Ultras pot afterwards, it wouldn't sit right with me.I thought the ultras and what they did were such an important part of the football club that I would have expected any funds to go on any associated overheads involved with the process of putting on such a vibrant and colorful display.
Yes it does. I'd expect a few hundred more from Peterborough by match time, somewhere between 1,000 and 1,200 in total. Obviously we have three days of home sales, plus boxes to add in too, so should be over 10,000 total.
Means we are at 8,500 or so then
