Kassam Stadium Hotel used to house refugees

There’s a pattern developing here.
Oxford United,have clearly been selected, to be used as a tool to deter illegal immigrants.
First,the FA negotiated with overseas TV companies to screen our game against Woking, including showing the game for free on huge screens,sited in Calais and Dunkerque,adjacent to refugee camps.
Second, for those already in the UK, it has been decided to move them to the Holiday Inn at the Kassam.
All will be given free tickets to our next home games.
It is hoped,that this experience will deter not only those who wished to travel to the UK and also persuade those at the hotel,to request repatriation to there country of origin.

Maybe that’s the okn so they go back home on their own without any help from the government…..Sunday the M20 will be very busy…hopefully.

Not the Ukrainians no, but there are many who aren’t eligible and should be sent straight back. The other morning they said the biggest influx of refugees are Albanian and there is no war there or persecution and their prime minister decides to blame us.
With Afghanistan refugees that will never cease and that is something the Western world will have to try and sort but alas the Russians tried and failed some western world tried and failed. The world is a well and truly fucked uo olace but considering the amount of regugeees that are coming here illegally we just don’t have the infrastructure and we role like Kassam will milk it and rob the government for as much cash as they can.
The classic one was in North Ferriby there was a hotel all booked ready to take some more refugees but the locals got that blocked through the courts claiming infrastructure……a case of classic racism but that will happen all over the U.K..
Imagine holiday resorts putting refugees up and how much they will lose in tourism.

So it's ok to keep the Ukrainians but not the Afghanistan people the Albanians have been coming to this country longer than I can remember both legally and illegally the problem is once you opened that door you could never fully close it otherwise it's the racism card

Personally I have no problems with immigrants coming to this country if they want to work and pay towards society like the rest of us it's the ones that come get a free house don't work and live a better life than the rest of us that go.to work there the ones that should be sent back to wherever it is they come from
 
Probably mostly Albanian, the hotel owner made his fortune by running slums and housing those who were homeless etc and taking huge amounts of taxpayers money.

So this is no surprise!

He may have done but read the article. These are Afghan and Ukrainian refugees. The assumptions here to fit a narrative isn't helpful.

Where are we going to put them ? Albanians have been coming for many years a lot where and are illegal.
We have a duty of care Theo the Afghans that helped during the conflict but not every one.
I get where you’re coming from and yes there are some who want to come for a better life and work and bring their families up in a country in the G7 because of the wealth, but as you say the ones who want a freebie at our expense should be arrested and returned immediately, problem is the do guiders who try every tactic through the courts to have them allowed to stay here. Sorry if this is harsh but no if they’re here illegally send them straight back no messing.
 
I thought I'd read about this last year, that the Home Office had block-booked the hotel but wasn't actually using the rooms.

Same as his many "hotels for the homeless", think he had 18 buildings at the peak.
Hotelier or "slum landlord/merchant of misery" you decide, but he is putting a roof over peoples heads.
And he collects a lot of money for doing so!

How does FK benefit from this? Does he not simply charge Holiday Inn rent? The money from any room sales does to Holiday Inn?
