It was, and is, an absolute f*****g disgrace the way an (at least) perfectly capable player was treated here.

I have no idea what Jones did wrong here - if anything - but his treatment was incredibly shabby.

Robinson didn’t like the fact that Jones was being a decent, honest man. The complete opposite of him.

The irony is that it was Jones' agent who made the arrangement with Reading
The player would have preferred to stay with us after enjoying it so much in Spain, especially as he and Marcus Browne are close friends
But as Jones is a decent man he honoured his agent's promise to Reading

Which makes him falling out with Jones over the promise an agent made even more bizarre. But then his behaviour for the last year here was mental, his head was completely gone and Jones in a normal job he would go for gross misconduct, those football contracts are so much on the footballers/managers side that they get away with it though.
