Positives...well it gives us all hope we can be international footballers I suppose. And the stadium is nice (I was there a few years back).
Negatives....VAR controversy makes the game burst (!) into life with a penalty and red card that I didn't even think was a foul at first.

As to Jones (sorry, "Felice Jones" according to his shirt)...touched the ball about five times. Of which three were heavy passes that went out for a goal kick or throw. Played out on the left and quite honestly was completely anonymous. What I can say though, is he is fit (and fairly nippy, if with absolutely zero danger, touch, poise or passing ability).

Concur that he hasn't been mentioned in dispatches...on live feed/text....have the Sky Blues lulled us into a false sense of optimism..still match sharpness to come??

Nope. He was pretty standard. Didn’t do anything wrong but didn’t stand out. Might have been pre planned. Was playing very wide left, almost a wing back at times.

Either he is better than he looked tonight, or the staff who watched him (and signed him up) in preseason have had a stinker. I really hope it's the former, we need all the reinforcements we can get.
