Excuse my ignorance, but how were the clubs connected? I know that there was the obvious connection through the name, but was the boys club part of the youth programme at Celtic? I seem to remember that Jock Stein had apparently tried to break the connection between the clubs, but don't know how this happened or to what extent the link remainded.
That of course doesn't distract from the actions of those involved, or the trauma felt by the kids affected. Unfortunately, I think that more and more of these historical cases will come out as people find the courage to talk about what happened to them.
