A couple of non-consequential wrong decisions, but was otherwise very consistent, let the game flow and was always talking to the players to let them know why decisions were/weren't made. 8/10 would have again.

He's excellent. That one towards the end of the first half where the Charlton player went down under a bit of pressure facing his own goal and tried to grab the ball, 95% of the refs at this level buy that. But he sees it for what it is and gives the correct decision (free kick to Oxford for handball, much to the bemusement of the home fans). As soon as you hear Madley is going to be reffing, as a fan you can relax safe in the knowledge the referee's performance is not going to impact the game, which at this level isn't often the case.

Apologised for giving a throw in the wrong way and kept the game moving. Wish we had a few more of his standard in League 1.

Yep, was good overall. Couple of ropy looking minor decisions but all the big calls correct.

Was expecting four penalties for Brannagan so only a nine from me.
