By the sound of it there will be no starts for Eastwood, Bate, Browne, Murphy or Wildschut. Therefore, I’d play:

McGinty
Anderson Moore Findlay Brown
McGuane
Bodin Brannagan
Henry O’Donkor Goodrham
Or

McGinty
Long Moore Brown
Anderson McGuane Seddon
Brannagan
Goodrham O’Donkor Bodin
I’d drop Moore, and go with the back 4 verses Sheffield Wednesday e.g. Anderson, Long, Findlay, Brown. I’d go with Murphy, Taylor and Wildschut up top! Then have Goodrham, Brannagan & McGuane in the middle.

Question, do we think Long could play the holding midfielder in front of the back four time?

The result, no idea. But whatever it is it will have no bearing on who is managing us for the rest of the season apparently.
Which is a weird state of affairs...wish I could screw up so consistently and still be in a job.

Well the form table in the past 6 games shows :
Oxford 12th
Charlton 23rd

Oxford 7 points
Charlton 3 points

Oxford GD +1
Charlton GD -3

They do score a few but have conceded 12 goals in the past 6 games.

Don‘t forget it’s a 7.45pm kick off. It’s a working day, not a Bank Holiday.

Easy to forget what day of the week it is in the Christmas/New Year holiday period!

ditto that - yesterday ,albeit being a working/school day, really did 'feel' like a Sunday ( for me more so as I played an allnighter tuesday night)

back on subject- the Ipswich debacle will be expunged tonight, home win 2-1 ( even though its a meeting of L1 's two draw specialists)

I saw the fixtures and decided to book the 'weekend' off meaning I accidentally booked today and Friday off! Now I can see why my co-workers are peeved at me having an unintentional 4 day weekend because for some reason I thought today was a Saturday game:ROFLMAO:

tonights referee is Ben Toner

likes his yellow cards - in 23 matches this season, he's handed out 70 cautions - but no Red Cards ( not even for 2 yellows in one game) - seems he likes to spread the love/ warnings

The RES barrier is up tonight. You have to wonder why when we have no history of problems against Charlton. Just another inconvenience for customers.

REF WATCH

Lancashire official Ben Toner is the man in the middle for tonight’s clash with the Valiants.
Toner was appointed to the National List in the summer of 2015 and his last U’s game was the 1-2 home loss to Sunderland
last April. His last Charlton fixture was their 2-1 loss at Bolton in February.

Toner has issued 70 yellow cards in 23 games this season and is yet to dismiss a player.

Would put a lot of that down to woolacott being at the World Cup and injured

Charlton will be motivated. They got a point against Peterborough the other day in Holden’s first game in charge on the back of knocking a PL team out of the cup to set up a trip to Old Trafford. Every player will currently see this period as a blank slate and a chance to get their hands on a shirt. We also won’t know for sure what formation or lineup they’re likely to go with as there is virtually no data. That said, they might also be a little disjointed and uncertain while learning a new system. It really is difficult to predict.

Just show up and hope for the best, and if the chippy is open then good luck, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Should change to the North Stand

Not like you @bazzer9461 hope you're ok
I’m fine mate thanks but loosing heart in our club.
People saying they have faith and backing of the manager, I wish the board would read all 392 pages of the Robbo out no 1 thread, then maybe they can see the hurt it’s doing to our great club and their ambitions will memory be met but the management we have.
