Tickets Bolton Wanderers v OUFC Ticket Thread

100% yes - but for this sort of event there will be loads of other connected people who will want to come - and hopefully they will then become more ardent fans for the future. That's how I first became a fan when I was invited to the Milk Cup in '86 with my u14 football team. My wife for example, who takes more than a passing interest in OUFC because her husband and son are supporters, but only occasionally comes to games when my son isn't around. My daughter who lives away wants to come, with her boyfriend etc etc. Sounds like all will be ok and we will hopefully sell out our allocation and turn Wembley yellow!
Sure it will be fine for all who need a ticket mate.

Some common sense required..

I’m struggling to understand the reasoning for selling North to South? It just cuts down on your choice so unless you wait you can’t sit where you want?

Its so they don't get a lot of half empty blocks, they want them full then they can cut down on staff etc.

All this digital ticket lark and filling the ground for the cameras wasn`t around in `86.

Queue up, buy a bit of paper and pretty much go where you like. :)

Why am I spending £4 to select and print my own ticket? Do I invoice someone for the paper and ink?

It makes giving ST holders 'priority' almost pointless, because we aren't actually getting the choice to sit where we want - it's limited.

Let's see what happens. I have bought tickets via OUFC before but there's apparently no e-mail linking me to the system. So for all intents and purposes I don't have an account and have no number that can be linked to another person's network and can't buy tickets for myself. Will have to go through friends of friends if that's the case and I've read it correctly. Surely there'll have to be some personalisation though?

Or I register today completely new and hope there's some news in the future after the first tickets are gone.

If I have an account with my dad’s account linked, can I get 12 tickets? Or will we both have to log in to get 6 each?

Here's what I'm expecting based on what we've heard...

Each ST holder and member will be able to buy up to 6 tickets for anyone they choose from 12 today.

Later, when the tickets open up, it will be six tickets per registered fan number. Those registered fans must have set up before Wednesday presumably to avoid problems down the line if Bolton sell out and create accounts to buy tickets in our sections.

Another 10 minutes thought on the wording on oufc webpage would have avoided all this ambiguity.
