I really hope that's the case.Good news: I just spoke to Gemma at the ticket office and she said season ticket holders and members CAN buy 6 tickets. For anyone at all, no restrictions.
She also said she didn't write the story on the website, but hopefully she'll pass on the confusion and it'll get changed.
thank you for clarifying - now need to work out what to do for the next 103 minutes....Good news: I just spoke to Gemma at the ticket office and she said season ticket holders and members CAN buy 6 tickets. For anyone at all, no restrictions.

I did think it would be mental, we can't have more than 20,000 (if that) yellows account registered, would mean us missing out on over 10,000 extra sales at least.Good news: I just spoke to Gemma at the ticket office and she said season ticket holders and members CAN buy 6 tickets. It can’t be that everyone needs a yellows account to get a ticket, else why accept 35,000 tickets? Won’t be anywhere near that number registered.
Banbury and Bicester people can buy tickets before people in Oxford, Thame, and Didcot.
Deliberately or not, that's how I read it. "A maximum of six tickets can be purchased per fan number for any supporter with a Yellows Account registered on or before Wednesday 8th May."
All depends what the 'for' means in this sentence.
Are the six tickets being purchased by one account holder for five other account holders?
Or does it mean that 'for any supporter with a Yellows Account, a maximum of six tickets can be purchased...'?
Unclear clauses, etc.
Unless they're using this as some sort of bastardised prioritisation system.
1. ST holders and Members
2. Yellows account holders
3. Everyone else?
We will need a regular ticket panic megathread if we do go up to the championship.
I read it as it should have been "by" not "for". My worry was that the first window was restricted to one per membership / season ticket and general sale was a 6 per fan number free for all. That would've seriously inconvenienced anyone with kids or any other hangers on who would have to wait until general sale to sit together.Deliberately or not, that's how I read it. 100% yes - but for this sort of event there will be loads of other connected people who will want to come - and hopefully they will then become more ardent fans for the future. That's how I first became a fan when I was invited to the Milk Cup in '86 with my u14 football team. My wife for example, who takes more than a passing interest in OUFC because her husband and son are supporters, but only occasionally comes to games when my son isn't around. My daughter who lives away wants to come, with her boyfriend etc etc. Sounds like all will be ok and we will hopefully sell out our allocation and turn Wembley yellow! Why would a U's fan not already be registered.
The club sent out an email previously for people to make sure they had access, it's not rocket science
*Moves to Newscastle*Banbury and Bicester people can buy tickets before people in Oxford, Thame, and Didcot.
There will be thousands missing out, if it's registered only.
Loyal fans that's been going for years & years.
So some , Fairweather supporters that's registered, get to go above a loyal fan that's not???? Can't be right, if I miss this match I will be fuming..
