A pretty s**t first half but credit deserved to all for that second half.

Bench making a difference, now just imagine if we had those options for the last 3 months.

Good win, lots better 2nd half but still edgy at the back, I'm not sure I trust this team to see out a lead consistently. Purely a personnel thing rather than tactical.

Wigan were good and a lot better than they'll probably get credit for. Smith in the middle is a fantastic player.

Phew.

We are like KR’s 2021-22 side. We’re never going to keep clean sheets so we have to outscore our opponent.

Thankfully we managed that tonight but, boy, do we make it hard for ourselves.

What a game!

First half we were slow to most things, allowed them to press and bully us and deserved to be 1-0 down. Bit of magic at the end of the half to give us a bit of confidence.

Built on the equaliser brilliantly with a fantastic 30 minutes. Could argue we were lucky with deflections but better than not trying the shots. Nervy end after their second goal but we managed the game excellently and sneaked the fourth to wrap it up nicely.

It feels like an age since we won a game. Here's to hoping it's the start of a good run in to the season with key players back and confidence around the team.

Much needed relief to what has been a stressful last 7 days at home.

Let's have it, up the bloody Ox!

Compare those subs we were able to make today vs the ones we made against Derby - against them we brought on Henry, Thorniley, McEchran and Odonkor. It's a completely different proposition.

You could see it with our energy/press late on.

I thought Harris had a good game. Chased everything down and looks much more confident

Murphy was our only real outlet in the first half and has to start for me. He does look better on the left though

Tyler had a great impact off the bench - I do prefer him coming into the game though rather than starting so would maybe do the same on Saturday.

Murphy and Goodrham can swap out on the left side, Dale and Burey on the right, Harris and Bodin up top and then any of 4 of Cam, McGuane, Matete and Ruben to swap around in the middle.

We suddenly look like a squad again

46 games in a season, but that was massive ,let's win saturday then Tuesday then saturday,

The win was really all that mattered tonight. We had to stop the rot so it not being the most polished performance isn’t the end of the world. But we can consider ourselves more than a little fortunate to have scored 4 goals and win the game.

Still at a bit of a loss as to what we’re trying to do if it isn’t to get to the edge of the box and smash it on sight.

Harris excellent. Burey should’ve come on when the game started to open up. Long calamitous and an off night for Moore but Tyler a real bright spark off the bench.

We knock it about at the back from side to side and try and bring the opposition out and then we try and play it in or over the full backs to get the wingers into the game, get crosses into the box and have plenty of players on the edge of the box ready if it comes out to them.
